Dramatic television
I've been catching up on television that I missed over the past few weeks. All of a sudden my favorite shows got really dramatic.
The Real World Key West finale was super dramatic. The roomies left the house one-at-a-time. Each departure was followed sad shots of everyone crying and sitting on the steps with their luggage waiting for the next taxi. I mean really, couldn't they send a van and have everyone leave at once? The focus of the finale was on Paula who apparently has come a long way. If you didn't realize that, this episode really made that clear. The last straw for me was when Jose lost it saying goodbye to Paula.
Rescue Me's second to last episode before the season finale was also quite dramatic. Johnny is killed. The chief has a heart attack while getting it on with the Jamaican nurse. The Probie is transferring to another station. What the hell? This episode was more shocking that dramatic but still.
I've also been watching Psych but am way behind on that one. I hope it doesn't have any dramatic moments. I don't know what I'm going to do when the fall lineup kicks off. I will surely still be depressed from the Real World finale.
