Baseball update: Rangers outplayed by Angels

The Angels and the Rangers dueled it out tonight at Ameriquest. In the eighth, the Angels put up a three run rally putting them ahead of the Rangers, 9-7. This one was important because both teams were 5.5 games behind Oakland going into tonight's game. A win would help either team keep improving their standing in the AL West. It really doesn't matter though because there are still quite a few games that could move either of these teams up.

The Yankees also have a slim lead in the AL East ahead of the Red Sox. I hope they take the division but all of it is still up in the air. My dream World Series this year would be the Yankees and the Mets but not sure if that will happen. Either way, you heard it hear first (unless someone else already put it out there).

The Rangers and Angels slug it out tomorrow night also. I hope it goes better for us. I have to get to another baseball game soon.
