Chillin' at the casa

You may have guessed I was traveling this week (if you read my last post). I went home to visit my family in South Texas and then I visited a friend in Corpus Christi. It was actually a great little trip.

I really love spending time with my family. I don't get to see them as often as I used to and I hardly get to spend long periods of time with them when I do visit. It was really relaxing and fulfilling. My time in Corpus Christi was fun too. I'm impressed that CC has some randomly fun bars and clubs. The highlight of the trip though was probably our last day at the beach. Those who know me well already know that the beach and I are not best friends. I don't really like to hang out at the beach. I don't really look forward to going there but Sunday morning was really great. There weren't tons of people there and it was really relaxing. The ocean was beautiful regardless of its scary brown color. We left suddenly though when it got unbearably hot.

Well, my trip ended last night and today I spent most of the day getting ready for work and school. My little vacation has helped me recharge and get ready for the busy few weeks ahead. I love time off. You should get you some!
