What's that sound?
It's that time of the month again -- time to share what's currently in my CD player. I'm still focused on jazz and big band standards. Michael Buble's It's Time is one of my favorites and one that I could listen to everyday.
Buble's voice is great. It is soulful and dreamy (as jazz standards should be). He remakes some classics and has some original songs of his own, and excels at belting out both. I really like Home which makes me think of growing up and the funny things that happened in my childhood. I love all the other tracks too (except for his duet with Nelly Furtado but that is more about my dislike for her than their performance).
Find it, download it, steal it, whatever just get a copy. It is worth it. By the way it isn't a new release. It was released in 2005 but definitely has great shelf life.
On another note, I don't like the title "What's that sound?" Any suggestions on what to rename this regular feature. I need to get you guys involved somehow.
