Katie Couric on David Letterman

Katie Couric was on The Tonight Show with David Letterman tonight. I mentioned in my last post that I have been watching her newscast and am really digging it. She was freaking hilarious. I never realized how personable she was. On her blog she talks about her nerves and getting ready for the show.

She really shouldn't have been that worried about it. She did great. The funniest part of the interview was her talking about the suggestions she got for her sign-off at the end of the show. Katie said she really didn't think having a formal sign-off fit her style but she shared some of the ideas people submitted online.

I really liked the one that was, "Oh snap, look what time it is." My absolute favorite was, "I'm Katie Couric and I'm not just for breakfast anymore." Hilarious. I hope the segment comes out on YouTube soon so I can put it up for my Accidental Plan'ners'.
