What's that sound?
Welcome to the first edition of "What's that sound?" I hope to make this a regular feature where I share with AccidentalPlan readers what's playing on my MP3 player. I have really diverse music tastes so this should be tons of fun.
Awhile ago I saw Good Night, and Good Luck with my friend, Brian. It is an awesome movie, especially if you are news junkie and/or history buff like us. The movie takes place in the 1950s when television was just becoming a popular medium. It's a great story about daring journalists who took on Senator Joseph McCarthy, and the birth of television news. It also has great music! The soundtrack features the silky hot songs of Dianne Reeves. I usually think jazz and the standards are best performed by men, but Dianne Reeves is a great exception. I love this soundtrack and her sultry voice. Check out the movie and the soundtrack. Oh yeah and come back often for future editions of "What's that sound?"
